Pig Sty Cottage, located in West Milton close to Bridport, lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Part of a collection of properties, steep hills lie all around and is set within the owners working farm. A paradise for walkers and countryside fans, the choice is huge with a varied landscape from valleys to cliff tops. Beaches are just 4 miles away.

The accommodation at Pig Sty Cottage comprises of a hall, sitting room with open fire and door to patio. TV and DVD player. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Cloakroom/WC. First floor: Double bedroom with 5’ bed. Twin bedded room. Single bedroom with additional 2’ 6” pull out bed (for 1). Bathroom/WC (electric shower over bath). A travel cot and high chair are available and there is use of a shared laundry room.

Outside is a garden and patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Off street parking is available.

Area details

Bridport

Bridport is a market town on the Jurassic coast. The clay cliffs are abundant with fossils making the area popular with fossil hunters. Its most famous landmark is the view of the conical Colmers Hill with small clump of trees aligned with West Steet. Bridport has an arts centre, cinema, library and museum. The museum includes an extensive exhibition of the town's long history of rope-making and is open 10am - 5pm daily except Sunday from Easter until the end of October. Entry and access to all exhibitions is free. The Bridport Literary Festival has been running since 2005 and has played host to the industries biggest names. The Food Festival is held in late June at Asker Meadow and showcases locally produced foods for which the area is well known. The Food Festival week concludes with the Round Table Beer Festival. The town holds its annual carnival on the third Saturday in August.
