There is excellent walking from your doorstep with many beaches nearby as well giving real variety to your holiday. The 16th-century pub, which serves food, is just 200 yards away.
The accommodation at Drood Cottage comprises of a hall, beamed living room with open fire equipped with TV, DVD player and small library and radio/iPod dock. Dining room with small library and ornamental fireplace. Kitchen with electric Rangemaster (for cooking), microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, oak units and Amtico floor. Cloakroom with toilet.
First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed and spacious en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. Double and single bedrooms each with access to en-suite shower room with toilet.
Outside is a courtyard with furniture and a separate enclosed large garden with furniture and a BBQ. A cot and high chair can be provided. Roadside parking and in front of curtilage of the property. Your electric, bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season.
