Beachside is a first floor apartment located in the heart of West Bay, Dorset. Set on the stunning Jurassic Coast, West Bay is famous as the location for TV's Broadchurch so any followers of the TV show will now how pretty the village, beach and surrounding area is. You are just a minutes or two walk from the beach, coastal path and local amenities including a pub. There is lots to do in the area including speed boat rides to Lyme Regis, sea fishing, boat trips up the River Bret, trips to Abbotsbury with the tropical gardens and Swannery or just stay put and enjoy the village and seaside on your doorstep.
The accommodation at Beachside is all on one floor and comprises of a sitting room with dining area with Freeview TV, DVD player, CD/radio and a selection of books, games, toys, CDs and DVDs. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms arranged as a double that can be arranged as a twin upon request and a twin which can be made as a double upon request. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A cot and highchair can also be provided upon request.
There is parking for one car in the garage and additional parking is available in the pay and display car park opposite the apartment. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.
With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season.
